Cinema Seminar

Introduction to aspects of cinematic art through:

Theory and Practice of film analysis and directing for adults

Screenings of films analyzing: the history of cinema, genres, theoretical editing and production stages.

Creative group and individual exercises – screenwriting / cinematography.

Practical directing workshop – use of digital camera and complete directing exercise. The whole course explores in a wide range the components of cinema and the concept of visual communication. Participants will gain knowledge on the specialized vocabulary of the film industry and analysis of specialties. The seminar is conducted by Elpida Panagiotidou (Director / Casting Director). In the practical part of the seminar we welcome Nikos Kallaras (Director).
